Catholic Schools Week January 29 - February 2 Our annual Catholic School’s Week festivities will take place during this time frame.
Our theme for the year is: "Every day is game day!" We are stressing that our students approach each day and each assignment as if it were a big game.
Of course, our main focus is on the religious education of our students. We will be involving our students in service projects and special Masses. We want everyone to know why Cross is Boss!
We would also love for our families and alumini/alumnae to be involved in our school. If you have any talents you would like to share with our children, please don't hesitate to contact us.
We would like to thank all of the parishioners who donated art supplied to our school. We would also like to thank the Facciolo family who keeps the memory of their father, and husband, Raymond C. Facciolo, Jr. alive and well in their generous contributions to Holy Cross School. In addition, we would like to thank Mike Strolli from the Carpet Warehouse in Broomall for his assistance in helping with our Pre-K3 classroom.
Please keep an eye out for the wonderful events our school has planned throughout the year.
Lastly, over the course of the school year, the students will share with you
why they love Holy Cross School!
Have a great week!
1. We have two brand new programs for Reading and Math. They are utilized during technology class to help students increase their reading comprehension and math skills.
2. We have a new website and it has been up and running since fall: www.hcscrusaders.com.
3. Every teacher now has a two way radio in their room in case of emergency or as a way to communicate with the office.
4. We just started a Health and Nutrition Class for all students.
5. We have created Crusaders Care students awards for doing kind deeds in school without being asked.
6. Next school year school fees (lunch monitor, activity, and Religion book) will be included in tuition instead of paid as separate payments in the fall.
7. Every morning and afternoon a student representative leads our community prayer.

The theme for the National Catholic Schools Week 2018 is “Catholic Schools:
Learn, Serve, Lead, Succeed.” This theme encompasses so many of the concepts
that are at the heart of our schools and Catholic education.
This is time for us to celebrate the good things we are doing as a Catholic School system.
We are partnering with Bringing Hope Home, which helps families dealing with cancer, to help drive home the importance of serving others and making a difference.
We have several fun activities planned for the week for the students.
There will also be a national day of giving where donations can be made to Holy Cross School.
If you would like to donate, you can do so by following the link below:
