MAN UP PHILLY 10TH Annual Philadelphia Catholic Men’s Conference
Saturday, March 3 New Location - Neumann University, Aston “Christ Crucified - the Power and Wisdom of God” On Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Neumann University’s Mirenda Center, the men of our parish are invited to join Catholic Men throughout the Archdiocese for the 10th Annual Archdiocesan Catholic Men’s Conference - Christ Crucified - the Power and Wisdom of God. To celebrate our 10th anniversary our keynote speaker will be Seth Joyner, former Philadelphia Eagle, Pro Bowler, and analyst. We welcome back Jim Towey, President of Ave Marie University and personal attorney to St. Teresa of Calcutta, Don Saleski, Stanley Cup Champion with the Philadelphia Flyers, and Brian Gale, author of the trilogy Fatherless, Motherless, and Childless. Acclaimed Irish tenor, Mark Forrest, will again provide inspirational accompaniment during a special Eucharistic Adoration. Marty Rotella, singer and evangelist will provide musical accompaniment for the conference. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered, and the Conference will conclude with Mass celebrated by theMost Reverend Archbishop Charles Chaput. Lunch is included. SAINTS AND LEGENDS OF IRELAND Ireland,

Walk in the footsteps of St. Patrick and the Legends that made Ireland great. We will travel all around Ireland, including Belfast in the North. Enjoy dinner in a Medieval Castle, Kissing the Blarney Stone, visiting the Cliffs of Moher, the Knock Shrine, the Country of St. Patrick and his tomb, St. Bridget’s Well, the Rock of Cashel and the Dingle Peninsula.
We get the best of both worlds with this tour, a little bit of the sacred and a little bit of the secular. Cost of $3,845 includes all tours, round trip airfare from Philadelphia to Dublin or Newark to Dublin (with bus transportation), airline surcharges and airport taxes, accommodations in centrally located, first class (four-star hotels) daily breakfast, six hotel dinners, a Medieval Banquet and an Irish evening with dinner and a show. THREE PARISH BOOK CLUB
The next meeting of the Three Parish Book Club
will be on Wednesday, September 27, at 7:00 PM, in the Parish Center of Holy Cross.
At each meeting, we not only discuss the selected book(s)
but also offer suggestions of books we personally enjoyed.
In September, we will be discussing the summer reading selections
and choosing November’s book.
You need not have read the month’s selection to attend the meeting.
